Blogging in Hindi (?!)

Last week I was in New York from Tuesday through Saturday. I've been a student for the last two years so these evenings alone in a hotel were the perfect opportunity to get homework done without feeling like I was ignoring Mark since we weren't together. Well, I've graduated now and so many things in life are better. Mark and I get to go on fun weekend day trips without feeling like we have to rush home so I can post a 6 page paper (due at midnight) that I hadn't started yet. It's a delight to be a wife and employee, not a student too.

I forgot to bring a book with me on my business trip. I decided to blog from the hotel on Staten Island where I was staying and couldn't. I realized, only today, that i had enabled transliteration on my blog. That explains why everything was coming up in Hindi characters. Ugh. So I'm back, in English, ready to roll.

I also left my headpiece at home for my cellphone. In NY you cannot drive while holding the phone. It's truly a great idea. I thought of many of you and wanted to call but feared getting a ticket. It was a great opportunity to pray for friends and family since I didn't get to talk to you directly.

I'd love to have book suggestions for future readings! I've got my eye on Expecting Adam and Wicked (the Broadway musical).
