This past week:
Sawyer is 11 months old today. He is standing, cruising, and even not holding on for a bit before he falls. I bet he will walk any day. Today he and Alice went to the doctor because they both have double ear infections. Sawyer weighs 22lbs at 11 months and Alice weighs 30lbs at 2.5 years. They started antibiotics today and I hope it means a return to normal nights and good attitudes soon.

White Lines
According to Alice today, I must be getting older and she doesn't like it.
A: What are those white lines?
me: Where?
A: In your hair
me: Are they my white hairs?
A: Yes. I don't like them.

Last few days of 2012
Augusta with my sister Mary Beth's family:
We had a great relaxing visit on our way back home. Next time we visit together they'll have three girls -- Anna is due in just 5 days!!
Decatur, GA with the Busby family:
Eliza and Sawyer are new additions since we last saw each other. We enjoyed a quick morning visit.
Columbia, MD New Year's Eve:
We've spent Easter, Thanksgiving and New Year's with the Hettingers this year. We walked through the tour of lights and watched fireworks "scary sparkling stars" at 7pm (perfect for my tiredness level). Alice and Hannah are like sisters -- loving and bickering. We closed on our house NYE and Mark had great help on New Year's Day to get us into our house.
Christmas fun down South
We drove back and forth to family in Atlanta, Gadsden, Birmingham, and Augusta for Christmas and got back to Maryland in time to close on our house on New Year's Eve. We enjoyed each stop but would have enjoyed a longer, more leisurely pace.

New Year, new house!
We are thrilled to start the year 2013 by spending the first night in our new house. As you can see the kids love their rooms, the toys that are back from storage, and Mark and I both feel like we got a great house! Even Jackson adores the yard :)
