Swimming Days

Swimming can really wear you out!

The sudden intense heat makes afternoon trips to our neighborhood pool sweeter. Today was Sawyer's first time in the water and he enjoyed it. Alice loves kicking, going under and playing with her Daddy in the big pool and baby pool. I like the way everyone sleeps better after an hour in the water :)

Tall Ships & Blue Angels in Baltimore Harbor

We took advantage of the beautiful afternoon Saturday in Baltimore with our friends the Mygatts. It's the 200th anniversary of the Star Spangled Banner and we celebrated by visiting the Tall Ships and watched the Blue Angels fly in formation overhead. Look closely at the pictures and you'll see the specs in formation. 

Today is Father's Day and it's funny to think that for Mark's first Father's Day he had one child and this year, his second Father's Day, he has two children. I don't expect to keep up the trend but it's been a full two years and Mark is such a great father. He knows and loves his children and they both light up when he's around. It's fun to watch Mark grow into these new phases of parenthood with love and delight when he looks at his son and daughter. 

Sawyer's adventures, age 3.5 months

Today we weighed the kids and Sawyer is 16 pounds at 3.5 months. He's growing, smiling, rolling, moving, and relaxed most of the time. Sawyer's a great addition to our family! We have more adventures planned for Father's Day and life. . .stay tuned next week.
