Baking Day: before, mid- and post-renovation

Baking days have become more enjoyable as our kitchen has improved. Today I made magic bars, mini cheesecakes and peanut-butter-filled chocolate cupcakes for Sawyer's birthday celebrations this weekend. He's turning TWO on Friday!!

we did some major elements and our great contractor did a lot of great work 

today was another baking day and I enjoyed it so much more! we're 95% complete and it's already delightful

Snow Cave Day

Hi, We have power, lots of snow and a kitchen that's fully functional--only missing a backsplash and new window. We're having fun and even worked with our favorite neighbors to build a snow cave this morning. Lots of fun!! More pictures to follow another day. . . sounds like more snow's coming today too!
