Easter

We celebrated Easter at church and with a meal at the Kriese family's house. Our Maundy Thursday service was especially meaningful and the song inset below is a beautiful reminder of what Jesus did to save us from our sins.

Egg Hunt & Snowy Spring Storm

 Our church Easter Egg Hunt was a big success on Saturday. Sawyer thought he was finding balls and loved throwing them. Alice quickly realized she was finding candy eggs and loved it! Lots of neighborhood families came for egg hunting, story time and crafts.

Mimi & Grandaddy visit

 Mimi and Grandaddy flew home yesterday after an extended weekend visit. We had tea parties, a birthday party, baptism, book time, Wildlife Nature Preserve Center visit, and fun around the house. I love having them here to love on us and our kids. It was like Christmas with the excitement up to their arrival at the airport! The unexpected adventure was a visit to the Urgent Care Center after Mimi's fall. She broke her elbow, sprained her wrist, hurt her knee and felt rather rotten after missing a step in the yard at our new house.

Baptism & Birthday Bash

Sunday was such fun. It was my birthday and my parents came to visit. We baptized Sawyer on Sunday plus my cousin Scott came and that made the day even more special. Good food, delicious desserts and great weather capped off our celebration.

A Miracle!

Last week Alice studied Jesus' first miracle, turning water into wine. She loved the idea of a wedding party and the Sunday School lesson stuck in her mind.

I bought some wine to cook with a few days later. She asked what I was using. I told Alice it was wine.
"Jesus was here and did a miracle!" was her reply. I love her faith :)
