We've been doing some major and minor work around the house in 2014. The kitchen and hardwoods felt major and we love every square inch of the update. It's brighter, more efficient use of space, cleaner, and I love to cook there. M&Em Flooring had another unexpected install.
Weather has been our enemy and our house's friend. Our oatmeal-colored carpet in the basement got SOAKED in historic rains two weeks ago and no wet-vac (or 3!) or fan could solve the issue. We ripped out the carpet, dried it out, then laid laminate wood floors all in about 5 days. Unexpected project, but M&Em Flooring did a good job and we all enjoy the space more. The crazy-cold winter left the exterior pain flaking badly. Our cream house is now white, red shutters are now deep blue.
